Packing Tape
Most packing tape these days is made from fossil fuel-derived plastic. Cheap maybe, but what happens to the tape when the parcel is received and opened? It ends in the bin and then sits in landfill for decades. A better alternative is biodegradable paper packing tape. Just as functional but without the consequences for landfill.
